 Love my science - Worn out people

One loves Bratislava, for its acid tails that flow down the Danube river, giving us the notes of this explosive band, determined and associated with a logical, mental beauty, created in the circuit of that electro punk that has distant, decades-old origins here.

This EP is the rush of people who want to rush through grooves tainted with urgency and consummate skill in keeping the flame of youth burning. Harsh guitars (The Fall teach at every latitude), chunks of electronics and sweat-drenched disco rhythms are the first emerging elements of five springs, bent and tossed through dry melodies, like feathers caressing as they wear out the eyes. Madness and brilliance, improvisation and a marked propensity to make their music a sky open to Jupiter, where everything rises to find a soul liberated from a place that has contributed so much to the sinking of fun.

Here we have it in different forms, with the mood in an embryonic state within the electronics controlling and scattering chips so that the guitars can do the bare minimum. Vocals often adapt to be tired, sensual wails.

Stay close to this youthful delirium: sometimes the contagion is a splendid madness...

Si ama Bratislava, per le sue code acide che scendono lungo il fiume Danubio, regalandoci le note di questa band esplosiva, determinata e associabile a una bellezza logica, pmentale, creata nel circuito di quell’electro punk che qui ha origini lontane, decennali.

Questo EP è la fretta di persone che vogliono correre all’interno di solchi contaminati di urgenza e consumata abilità nel tenere accesa la fiamma della giovinezza. Chitarre aspre (i The Fall insegnano ad ogni latitudine), pezzi di elettronica e ritmi da discoteche sporche di sudore sono i primi elementi emergenti di cinque molle, piegate e lanciate attraverso melodie secche, come piume che accarezzano mentre sfiancano gli occhi. Pazzia e genialità, improvvisazioni e una spiccata propensione a rendere la loro musica un cielo aperto verso Giove, dove tutto sale per trovare un’anima liberata da un luogo che molto ha contribuito ad affossare il divertimento.

Qui ne abbiamo in diverse forme, con il mood in stato embrionale dentro l’elettronica che controlla e sparge chip, affinché le chitarre possano fare il minimo indispensabile. Le voci spesso si adattano per essere lamenti stanchi, sensualissimi.

State nei pressi di questo delirio giovanile: qualche volta il contagio è una pazzia splendida…

Noeud - La grande évasion

You absent yourself for a while from a project you are part of, and create music on your own, in absolute freedom, and how do you do it? Wonderfully!

MD is a musician with clear ideas and offers us a track with many ambitions in that, in addition to mixing musical genres that are not always related (which he succeeds in very well), he suggests how to develop Synthpop with an evident trace of electric lo-fi, creating a suspension of atmosphere between the notes that is excellent. As the old scribe always says, learning matters more than taste, and here we have it, for a flight that is able to offer a window into the future.

Is it really a great escape or is it rather living in the past to take it all as a departure? I would say that in any case such a song is an example that much is still possible, and with remarkable quality too.

Ti assenti per un po’ da un progetto di cui fai parte, e crei musica per conto tuo, in assoluta libertà e come lo fai? Meravigliosamente!

MD è un musicista dalle idee chiare e ci propone un brano dalle molte ambizioni in quanto, oltre a miscelare generi musicali non sempre affini (cosa in cui riesce benissimo), suggerisce come sviluppare il Synthpop con un evidente tracciato di lo-fi elettrico, creando una sospensione di atmosfera tra le note eccelsa. Come dice sempre il vecchio scriba, più che i gusti conta imparare e qui ne abbiamo modo, per un volo che è in grado di offrire una finestra verso il futuro.

È davvero una grande evasione o piuttosto vivere il passato è il prendere il tutto come una partenza? Direi che ad ogni modo una tale canzone sia l’esempio che ancora molto è possibile, e pure con notevole qualità.

Yes, the old scribe does not leave Hamburg, but believe me he is not wrong, because listening to Xenia Beliayeva's single is a delirium that everyone should experience.

Her voice, with a vocal that is a scratch of salt amidst the indecisive sun rays of the German city, is what can shake us and make us understand perfectly how Synth can colour communication with words that precede the actual words, which here offer an essay of her skills as a visionary in search of a place to take our fears. These lexical expressions are the next step to complete the intention of having her in our listening, dancing in the desire to finally understand what fabric these syllables we surround and feed on are made of. A song that bewitches and frightens, making it perfect and full of toned and swaggering muscles. All under the banner of a perfect production (in Germany we don't joke, never, we have only to learn from this Mother Nation of Sound and Professionalism), which allows the stylistic factory of Synthwave, Industrial-Techno, Synthpop to let the blood flow contentedly to intoxicate our legs with a dance that is light in appearance...

Xenia Beliayeva - Words

Ebbene sì, il vecchio scriba non si stacca da Amburgo, ma credetemi non sbaglia, perché ascoltare il singolo di Xenia Beliayeva è un delirio che tutti dovrebbero vivere.

La sua voce, con il cantato che è un graffio di sale in mezzo ai raggi solari indecisi della città tedesca, è ciò che può scuoterci e farci intendere perfettamente come i Synth possano colorare la comunicazione con parole che precedono quelle vere e proprie, che qui offrono un saggio delle sue doti di visionaria in cerca di un luogo dove portare le nostre paure. Queste espressioni lessicali sono il passo successivo per completare l’intenzione di averla nei nostri ascolti, danzando nel desiderio di capire finalmente di che tessuto siano composte queste sillabe di cui ci circondiamo e cibiamo. Una canzone che ammalia e spaventa, rendendola perfetta e piena di muscoli tonici e spavaldi. Tutto all’insegna di una produzione perfetta (in Germania non si scherza, mai, abbiamo solo da imparare da questa Nazione Madre del Suono e della Professionalità), che consente di far  scorrere  nella fabbrica stilistica di Synthwave, Industrial-Techno, Synthpop il sangue contento di intossicarci le gambe con una danza leggera in apparenza…
