Old Providence - La illusíon del ser

We are in Colombia, on the rails of a train, with this quartet, shooting hail and loneliness, compactly, like a nightmare that, starting from the bass, together with guitar and drums, leads us to the station of the Deathrock country, with Darkwave citizens on military leave. A majestically suffocating grating makes sound the foundation of a molecular structure that escapes, like the protagonist of the lyrics, and wanders through the decades with shortness of breath. Everything is circumscribed to a necessary heaviness, oppressive, but offering possibilities for reflection, with the final chant that sticks in the mind: even sadness can be a reason for a good trip...

 Old Providence - La illusíon del ser

Siamo in Colombia, sulle rotaie di un treno, insieme a questo quartetto, che spara grandine e solitudine, compattamente, come un incubo che, partendo dal basso, insieme alla chitarra e alla batteria, ci conduce alla stazione del paese Deathrock, con cittadini Darkwave in congedo militare. Una grattugia maestosamente soffocante fa del suono il basamento di una struttura molecolare che scappa, come il protagonista del testo, e vaga nelle decadi con il fiato corto. Tutto è circoscritto a una pesantezza necessaria, opprimente, ma che offre possibilità di riflessione, con il cantato finale che si conficca nella mente: anche la tristezza può essere motivo di un bel viaggio…
