My Review: Measure My Sleep - Windswept

Measure My Sleep - Windswept

Insane, immense, raw and misleading, indispensable, calamitous, necessary: is that a good start?

The old scribe regains his enthusiasm, dances madly amidst these grey confetti thrown by the New Jersey band, in a delirium of guitars, bass, drums, keyboard, which make the mind warm and drop an acid of dark joy in the heart. They play heavy, in a harmonious way, activating the history of Post-Punk, Coldwave, Synthwave, making them converge in the diligent embrace of that electronics that never misses a beat in those parts. Songs that cement, firm up thoughts, make the mind race towards the participation of the body for a continuous dance, with no will to stop, thanks to guitars that create dizziness and ecstasy. It fluctuates in the more cerebral American side until it joins up with the more fluid European side: you can hear very well that there is a need to summarise and then expand on what has already been heard with innovative forms that make for an immense listening experience...
