My Review: SLAXXX - Thin Air

 SLAXXX - Thin Air

What is artistic urgency? It resembles the passion in transit that defines space, if it refers to London's SLAXXX, memorable contemporary wizards, in exile from the British capital to move to the dance floors of the world with within their DNA clear signs of those 80s whose eternity the old scribe had predicted even then. But inside this single we have the pulsating freshness of a new Post-Punk, perfectly placed in a disguised Synthpop, nourished with electronic parcels that enhance the breath, while the legs perform counts and somersaults. On a creative level, the harmonic interplay is remarkable, the pauses, the stop-and-go, with the voices oscillating with references that are only seemingly easy to understand. Instead: there are unexplored worlds that display their worth to make this Thin Air a missile with a good soul, capable only of wounding the ugly and exalting the beautiful, for almost four minutes of infectious grey joy…
