The human mind is a spark that sways between simplicity and madness, between the absurd and the unimaginable, like facts that are undeniable and impossible to avoid.
What can happen when listening to an album is to experience a hustle and bustle that brings together hypothesis and reality, where balance and imbalance together generate the need for total abandon, which becomes apparent track after track.
Here in a nutshell is the magic of the Pennsylvania band, a meteor that as you listen to it you see it shining inside you, with its hypnosis, its powerful, persuasive notes, almost outrageous for how much richness they contain. Everything flows within the manifest intention of being a hypnotic spark, of positively exasperating the din given by guitars remotely controlled to project quintals of reverberations, ramblings and an attitude that seems to be the daughter of that American psychedelia of the 70s that pleasantly reaped victims. Powerful, compact, polished, this second artistic path of theirs, after the excellent Raw Tomato of 2020, shows a clear leaning towards a gentle agonistic nastiness, the sound hardens and the feeling is that the four guys have reached the awareness of their means and have thus been able to slightly veer their DNA towards the impact of the sound, which is remarkable. They slide towards density, making this album an act that resembles the conquest of the moon...
