My Review: Psychoformalina - Ludzie Wschodu (Siekiera cover)

Psychoformalina - Ludzie Wschodu (Siekiera Cover)

The Polish line-up went to the gym and put on muscle mass, rummaging through the rubbish of a hypothetical factory, which they turned into a place for physical training. And here this single reminds us of the importance of Siekiera, who did much for their country's social and musical scene with their military post-punk. The year was 1986. This cover respects the spirit of the song and increases its roughness, making it unassailable. The two guitars are a plot of evil throwing its darts in our faces. The vocals, doubled, lend greater dynamism and suggestion, with the drumming the legitimate child of Killing Joke. The tension is palpable, and throughout the song one has the very idea of being in an uncomfortable zone of thought. Intoxicating and toxic, this mantra will unsettle those filled with serenity, and given the times one assumes there will be few... Congratulations!
