Театр Абсурда - Возле наших 

Firecrackers bursting in your head, muffled: these are the firecrackers you imagine exist in this EP, a mournful, terrifying explosion amidst the conviction that the Ukrainian sky is a collection of detritus of the senses now at a standstill. Post-Punk convinces itself that it needs pounds of sadness, an urgent conversation with the Darkwave Lady, Gothic's right-hand man, is more necessary than ever and that is what happens in the six tracks. There is tribulation, there is dancing with the candles of the future burning out, but there is a joyful plan to the whole situation: authenticity and sincerity become a blood pact with the songs, an identity that alerts us and it is up to us to decide what to do. Personally, the old scribe gives himself permission to worship, because yearning is dear and necessary to him.

 Театр Абсурда - Возле наших 

Petardi che scoppiano nella testa, ovattata: sono i petardi che immagini esistano in quella di questo EP, un’esplosione dolente, terrificante, in mezzo alla convinzione che il cielo Ucraino sia una raccolta di detriti dei sensi ormai all’abbandono. Il Post-Punk si convince di avere bisogno di chili abbondanti di tristezza, un colloquio urgente con la Signora Darkwave, braccio destro del Gothic, è più che mai necessario ed è ciò che accade nelle sei tracce. Si tribola, si balla con le candele del futuro in spegnimento, ma esiste un piano gioioso in tutta la situazione: autenticità e sincerità diventano con le canzoni un patto di sangue, un’identità che ci avvisa e sta a noi decidere il da farsi. Personalmente, il vecchio scriba si autorizza all’adorazione, perché lo struggimento gli è caro e necessario.

 Dead On A Sunday - Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead EP)

When Americans get angry, they do it in a delightful way, with long wings that pick up, as if they were long brooms in the woods, all the confusion, and, precisely, deposit it, as in this case, in sinful, dark, athletic songs.

And it is Gothic-Rock that whips Emo, takes Rock concessions, whispers the desire for little electronic seeds, and dances through the streets finding melodies full of sweetness, but always with the nervousness that inhabits its heart. In all this, time becomes the priest testifying to his faith in darkness, thanks to the Post-Punk gushes that take the stage especially with the bass, which is often a granite hammer. It also runs into the Seventies with the almost joyous Sometimes I Think I Hate Myself, a Glam Rock sequin outfit masterfully kept under the skin. What can I say? A truly beauty-filled listen, at your disposal for some extrovert and powerful minutes...

 Dead On A  Sunday - Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead EP)

Quando gli Americani si arrabbiano lo fanno in modo delizioso, con ali lunghe che raccolgono, come se fossero lunghe scope nei boschi, tutta la confusione, e, in modo preciso, la depositano, come in questo caso, in canzoni peccaminose, oscure, atletiche.

Ed è Gothic-Rock che frusta l’Emo, si prende delle concessioni Rock, sussurra il desiderio di piccoli semi elettronici, e danza tra le strade trovando melodie piene di dolcezza, ma sempre con il nervoso che ne abita il cuore. In tutto questo il tempo diventa il sacerdote che testimonia la sua fede nell’oscurità, grazie ai zampilli Post-Punk che si prendono il palcoscenico soprattutto con il basso, che spesso è un martello granitico. Si corre pure negli anni Settanta con la quasi gioiosa Sometimes I think I Hate Myself, un vestito con paillettes Glam Rock magistralmente tenute sotto pelle. Che dire? Un ascolto davvero pieno di bellezza, a vostra disposizione per dei minuti estroversi e potenti…

 VOWWS - WAIT. feat. Chelsea Wolfe

As we look up at the Los Angeles sky, we can see souls directed towards an unconstrained sweetness, pure in building a basin into which our reflections will fall, given lyrics that lead us to a path with no funnel. The song is a manifest ability to make dark music with pop inputs, with Chelsea's voice bewitching and straining our breath, finally I might add. Short, like the life of a hummingbird, this sensory exploration feeds off the waves with the chain to plunge us into a mind-connecting emotion: it will be hard not to get hooked on listening to this amazing lament...

Alziamo lo sguardo verso il cielo di Los Angeles: possiamo notare delle anime indirizzate verso una dolcezza senza vincoli, puri nel costruire una bacinella in cui cadranno le nostre riflessioni, date da un testo che ci conducono a un cammino senza nessun imbuto. La canzone è una manifesta abilità di fare musica oscura con ingressi pop, con la voce di Chelsea che strega e affatica il nostro respiro, finalmente aggiungerei. Breve, come la vità di un colibrì, questa esplorazione sensoriale si nutre di onde con la catena per farci sprofondare in una emozione che collega la mente: sarà difficile non appassionarsi all’ascolto di questo strepitoso lamento…

My Review: Gilla Band - Sports Day

Gilla Band - Sports Day

There is an Ireland extraordinarily gifted in knowing how to make the listener wait, only to pierce them with a song that is nothing more than a cave of metal falling on us. 

Hallucinated, hermetic, generously even swaggering and built on a loop that reeks of electronics ruined by uncontainable madness, the track in question is a slow wall of noise on an industrial inspiration, which gets drunk and exhausts, giving the sensation of a cluster of bees in the brain. The base, the intuition, is a Post-Punk amphitheatre emptied of mannerism, which concedes the scene to slow, acid noise, resulting in a wonderful disturbance to the eardrums!
