 Assassun - Chronic Quicksand Depression Morning

Vlimmer è un progetto musicale ampio, folgorante e capace di agglomerare ascoltatori tra i più disparati. Ma il suo condottiero Alexander Leonard Donat presenta il suo secondo lavoro a sigla Assassun: dopo Sunset Skulls dell’anno scorso, l’artista Berlinese accelera i suoi impeti e ci catapulta in una giostra elettrica che porta il suo amato Post-Punk ad assentarsi, per dare spazio a formule Elektro Punk bagnate di gocce EBM perfettamente compatibili, per un risultato di eccellente espansione di un viaggio sonoro che racchiude tutta la profondità dell’autore a non fermarsi mai. L’ascolto è una mitragliata gentile di beats e circuiti ombrosi in cerca di melodie che sappiano tenere alta la curiosità: esperimento perfettamente riuscito!

 Assassun - Chronic Quicksand Depression Morning

Vlimmer is a wide-ranging, dazzling musical project capable of agglomerating the most diverse listeners. But its leader Alexander Leonard Donat presents his second work under the Assassun acronym: after last year's Sunset Skulls, the Berlin artist accelerates his impetus and catapults us into an electric merry-go-round that brings his beloved Post-Punk to a standstill, to make room for Elektro Punk formulas bathed in perfectly compatible EBM drops, for a result of excellent expansion of a sonic journey that encompasses all the depth of the author's never-stopping. Listening to it is a gentle bombardment of beats and shadowy circuits in search of melodies that know how to keep curiosity high: a perfectly successful experiment!

 Millions Of Dead Tourists - Healthy

Essenziali sensazioni si mettono in viaggio, nel trambusto, nella paura, nella tensione, piantando la bandiera della vittoria all’interno di quattro straordinarie composizioni: saranno ammassate nell’angolo di vibranti emozioni dalla pelle ruvida, tra impianti di elettronica e di una techno sperimentale seducente e piena di bava, in un'atmosfera da incubo tenuto a bada da questa pazzesca formazione greca. Quasi trentatré minuti di esplorazioni continue, con varianti, in una tribù di pensieri presi a calci da parvenze EBM e mutazioni ideologiche, nello stretto suono dell’incubo che fa flettere i panorami dei nostri bisogni. Il cuore si fa balbettante e si è catapultati in un luogo da cui velocemente saremo scaraventati fuori: perché la gioia di questa musica deve morire in fretta. Non ci rimarrà altra scelta che ripetere l’ascolto per cogliere tutte le sfumature di note e immagini  che ci faranno vivere, per ore, il desiderio di essere microchip coscienti…

Millions Of Dead Tourists - Healthy

Essential sensations take to the road, in turmoil, in fear, in tension, planting the flag of victory within four extraordinary compositions: they will be crammed into the corner of vibrant, rough-skinned emotions, between implants of electronica and seductive, drool-filled experimental techno, in a nightmarish atmosphere kept at bay by this crazy Greek line-up. Almost thirty-three minutes of continuous explorations, with variations, in a tribe of thoughts kicked up by EBM semblances and ideological mutations, in the narrow sound of the nightmare that flexes the landscapes of our needs. The heart stutters and we are catapulted into a place from which we will quickly be thrown out: because the joy of this music must die quickly. We will have no choice but to listen again and again to catch all the nuances of notes and images that will make us live, for hours, the desire to be conscious microchips...

 Tympanon Toph - Return to the Eternal Magma 2

A world full of lights, vibrating, trembling, light up in the darkness of a Dark Electro of Colombian provenance, to annex new worshippers, in a sound circus where everything is cloaked in a sensation of loss that captivates unabashedly. Three elaborate songs, full of South American toxins with a European embrace, for a global completeness that makes the listener satisfied for fifteen minutes of urban madness. EBM crumbs enter these electronic hallucinations and it is marasmus, delirium, jubilation that establishes complete adoration. Loop-seeking attitudes disappear. The band reasons on the concept of expansion and everything benefits from it, with changes of atmosphere, of images, of rhythm for a triumph of beauty to be proclaimed...

 Tympanon Toph - Retorno al magma Eterno 2

Un mondo pieno di luci, vibranti, tremanti, si accendono nel buio di una Dark Electro di Colombiana provenienza, per annettere nuovi fedeli, in un circo sonoro dove tutto è ammantato da una sensazione di perdita che affascina senza freni. Tre canzoni elaborate, pregne di tossine sudamericane con un abbraccio europeo, per una completezza globale che rende appagato l’ascoltatore per quindici minuti di follia urbana. Briciole EBM entrano in queste allucinazioni elettroniche ed è marasma, delirio, tripudio che stabilisce l’adorazione completa. Le attitudini alla ricerca del loop scompaiono. La band ragiona sul concetto di espansione e tutto ne trae giovamento, con cambi di atmosfera, di immagini, di ritmo per un tripudio di bellezza da conclamare…

 Leroy Se Meurt - La Chute

Almost three years have passed since this Ep: it is unforgivable to linger any longer to describe it. We are inside a neurotic corollary of Electro Punk waiting for your dancing steps, which will end up being a genuflecting lava of sweat. Vibrant, effervescent, the four tracks really show Paris snubbing snobs, and going all out to produce dark-faced magnets. The result is a sublime nervous breakdown, real, contrived by human beings rightly corrupted by exaggerating in quality: they are irrepressible, they take ebm and pluck it, to inject its chromosomes into this exaggerated, perfect electronics.

The singing is a series of polite screams, classy lashings on notes trained to make a rag out of you: chapeau!

 Leroy Se Meurt - La Chute

Sono passati quasi tre anni da questo Ep: non è perdonabile indugiare oltre per farne una descrizione. Siamo dentro un corollario nevrotico di Electro Punk in attesa dei vostri passi danzanti, che finiranno per essere una lava di sudore in genuflessione. Vibranti, effervescenti, i quattro brani sono realmente in grado di mostrare la Parigi che snobba gli snob, e si dà da fare per produrre magneti dalla faccia cupa. Il risultato è un esaurimento nervoso sublime, reale, escogitato da esseri umani corrotti giustamente dal fatto di esagerare in qualità: sono incontenibili, prendono l’ebm e la spolpano, per iniettare i suoi cromosomi in questa elettronica esagitata, perfetta.

Il cantato è una serie di urla educate, frustate di classe su note ammaestrate a fare di voi uno straccio: chapeau!

Is it enough for a couple from Prague to come up with an album that intoxicates the central nervous system, stressing it, annihilating it with such specific vehemence? Of course: if your name is Jan Vytiska and you compose music from murky acid nights, and if you are Tereza Ovćačikova with a voice like lightning speaking on a day filled with sensual sadness, then anything is possible.

You become a vampire renting electronic robotics that sneaks into Ebm, manufacturing an endless, destabilising and generously dark sound enchantment. Nine dances within the power of the Devil, lord of truth and father of deception: the two of them understood him and made him happy with these nine blackened gems...

Basta una coppia di Praga per ideare un album che intossica il sistema nervoso centrale, stressandolo, annichinendolo con cotanta veemenza specifica? Certo: se ti chiami Jan Vytiska e scrivi musiche che arrivano dalle torbide notti acide, e se sei Tereza Ovćačikova dalla voce di un fulmine che parla in un giorno pieno di sensuale tristezza, allora tutto è possibile.

Diventi un vampiro che affitta la robotica elettronica che si intrufola nella Ebm e allora puoi solo creare un incanto sonoro senza fine, destabilizzante e generosamente cupo. Nove danze all’interno del potere del Diavolo, signore della verità e padre dell’inganno: i due lo hanno capito e lo hanno reso felice con queste nove gemme annerite…

La mia Recensione: STATIQBLOOM - Separate Worlds

 STATIQBLOOM - Separate Worlds

Una foresta vista dall’alto, un essere umano spaventato corre alla ricerca di un non so, la pioggia spara proiettili elettronici su quel corpo, un canto arrotato e maligno lo accosta. Potrebbe essere la scena di un film sull’apocalisse questo primo remix della sigla STATIQBLOOM, composta dall’enigmatico Fade Kainer, rimasto ormai l’unico membro. Compatto, porta la Dark-Electro a convivere con l’Industrial, in un gioco tribale, un vomito sonoro che avvolge e conquista. Intemperanze, insistenze, capacità fanno di questo brano un anticipo della fine che verrà. Con la seconda rielaborazione, fatta dal progetto greco Qual, la modalità diventa meno ossessiva da una parte, ma con la sensazione che sia sempre presente una volontà di distruzione. Suoni pesanti, l'atmosfera si fà più caotica e gotica per un risultato eccellente.

 STATIQBLOOM - Separate Worlds

A forest seen from above, a frightened human being runs in search of a don't-knows-where, the rain shoots electronic bullets at that body, a rounded and malignant chant approaches it. It could be a scene from a film about the apocalypse, this first remix of the STATIQBLOOM theme song, composed by the enigmatic Fade Kainer, now the only member left. Compact, it brings Dark-Electro together with Industrial, in a tribal game, a sonic vomit that envelops and conquers. Intemperance, insistence, skill make this track a foretaste of the end to come. With the second reworking, done by the Greek project Qual, the mode becomes less obsessive on the one hand, but with the feeling that a will to destruction is always present. Heavy sounds, the atmosphere becomes more chaotic and gothic for an excellent result.

EBM clouds scratch the air, a Swedish soul pilots them, capable of making perfect syntheses in a single track, a perfectly summarised dictation of history: within it, music and voice draw the genre's tendency to never stop searching for the right loop, the mode that nails and develops memory and necessity. A great work of simplification can be deduced, a decomposition that has kept alive robotic cells that conquer, go inside the repetitions that seduce and gather the obedience of those who do not demand, but offer the absence of their own thought for a murderous and heavy dance... Two tracks that balance madness and sensuality...

 La Santé - Stratchy

Nuvole EBM grattano l’aria, li pilota un’anima svedese capace di fare delle sintesi perfette in un solo brano, un dettato della storia perfettamente riassunto: al suo interno musica e voce disegnano la tendenza di questo genere a non smettere di cercare il loop giusto, la modalità che inchioda e sviluppa memoria e necessità. Si deduce un grande lavoro di semplificazione, uno scorporamento che ha tenuto in vita cellule robotiche che conquistano, vanno all’interno delle ripetizioni che seducono e raccolgono l’ubbidienza di chi non pretende, bensì offre l’assenza del proprio pensiero per una danza assassina e pesante… Due brani che equilibrano pazzia e sensualità…

 Deus Ex Lumina - Fight Black

Being born in Buenos Aires, moving to Berlin.

Playing in several bands and then wanting a solo project and succeeding.

Gonzalo Schwindt is the protagonist here, and his music is a gothic-tipped pyramid with an EBM heart at its core: He moves through musical genres as easily as he drinks some liquor. For a result that is danceable ecstasy, with Dark-Synthpop veins like trees surrounding his cottage, situated well into the nineties. Determined, with a good taste that is now rare when it comes to these artistic situations, his is a track that succeeds in disconcerting for the softness of the parts that slip into black pleasure, fighting with cloaks that defeat the ignorance of the opponent on duty. He throws down the gauntlet and Gonzalo succeeds, because everything settles in the brain like a pleasant torment, surely winning when an average listener would compare the song to Andrew Eldritch of Sisters Of Mercy, especially in the refrain: guilty ignorance! We are in different areas, with different designs. All you have to do is dance and wear a dream armed with strength too, because Black must sooner or later leave this world...

 Deus Ex Lumina - Fight Black

Nascere a Buenos Aires, spostarsi a Berlino.

Suonare in diverse band per poi desiderare un progetto solista, riuscendoci.

Gonzalo Schwindt è il protagonista di questa vicenda e la sua musica è una piramide dalle punte gotiche con il cuore EBM al suo interno: muove i generi musicali come beve probabilmente qualche liquore, come da ordinanza. Per un risultato che è estasi danzabile, con venature Dark-Synthpop come alberi che circondano il suo casolare, situato bene in mezzo agli anni Novanta. Deciso, con un buon gusto ormai raro quando si parla di queste situazioni artistiche, il suo è un brano che riesce a spiazzare per la morbidezza delle parti che scivolano dentro il piacere nero, combattendo con mantelli che sconfiggono l’ignoranza dell’avversario di turno. Lancia la sfida e ci riesce Gonzalo, perché tutto si sistema nel cervello come un piacevole tormento, vincendo sicuramente quando un ascoltatore mediocre accosterebbe al cantato un paragone con Andrew Eldritch dei Sisters Of Mercy, specialmente nel ritornello: colpevole ignoranza! Siamo in zone diverse, con disegni diversi. Non vi resta che danzare e indossare pure voi un sogno armato di forza, perché il Nero deve prima o poi lasciare questo mondo…
