Ond Cirkel - Barriärer

Two girls, two boys, Swedes, have taken the Gothenburg sky and set it on fire: fuck kindness, it's time for sincerity, extreme, to which the old scribe welcomes. Joyfully! Steel is scratched with guitars and drums, the rest is a subtle sorrow that condenses into a sonic stretch the size of a pin-prick clap. Vertigo of idyllic tension swims in Sanna Lodin's voice to complete the miracle: 1980 is resurrected, it's even much better than we remembered it, and Killing Joke are certainly celebrating this track in a sincere embrace of this Sweden band in an amazing state of form!

 Ond Cirkel - Barriärer

Due ragazze, due ragazzi, svedesi, hanno preso il cielo di Gothenburg e l’hanno incendiato: fanculo la gentilezza, è ora di sincerità, estrema, a cui il vecchio scriba dà il benvenuto. Gioiosamente! L’acciaio viene grattato con le chitarre e la batteria, il resto è un sottile dispiacere che si condensa in un tratto sonoro dalle dimensioni di un applauso pieno di spilli. Vertigine di idilliaca tensione nuotano nella voce di Sanna Lodin per completare il miracolo: il 1980 è risorto, è addirittura molto meglio di come ce lo ricordavamo e di sicuro i Killing Joke stanno celebrando questo brano in un abbraccio sincero alla band di questa Svezia in uno strepitoso stato di forma!

Is it enough for a couple from Prague to come up with an album that intoxicates the central nervous system, stressing it, annihilating it with such specific vehemence? Of course: if your name is Jan Vytiska and you compose music from murky acid nights, and if you are Tereza Ovćačikova with a voice like lightning speaking on a day filled with sensual sadness, then anything is possible.

You become a vampire renting electronic robotics that sneaks into Ebm, manufacturing an endless, destabilising and generously dark sound enchantment. Nine dances within the power of the Devil, lord of truth and father of deception: the two of them understood him and made him happy with these nine blackened gems...

Basta una coppia di Praga per ideare un album che intossica il sistema nervoso centrale, stressandolo, annichinendolo con cotanta veemenza specifica? Certo: se ti chiami Jan Vytiska e scrivi musiche che arrivano dalle torbide notti acide, e se sei Tereza Ovćačikova dalla voce di un fulmine che parla in un giorno pieno di sensuale tristezza, allora tutto è possibile.

Diventi un vampiro che affitta la robotica elettronica che si intrufola nella Ebm e allora puoi solo creare un incanto sonoro senza fine, destabilizzante e generosamente cupo. Nove danze all’interno del potere del Diavolo, signore della verità e padre dell’inganno: i due lo hanno capito e lo hanno reso felice con queste nove gemme annerite…

Ancora Polonia, ennesima dimostrazione di potenza unita a una grazia pelvica che distrugge i sogni, finalmente!

L'album è un passaggio nevrotico nel Post-Punk di matrice tedesca, con l’evidente capacità di rendere il tutto un grido strutturato, a partire dalle chitarre piene di fango sino alla voce che sentenzia con le sue vibranti corde rese secche dal vento dell’orrore. Oscuro, terrifico, maestoso, si insinua sotto la pelle e ci fa divenire sudditi rassegnati alla sua prepotente bellezza: i ragazzi polacchi hanno fatto centro nel cuore del vecchio scriba…

Poland again, yet another demonstration of power combined with a pelvic grace that shatters dreams, at last!

The album is a neurotic passage into Post-Punk of the German matrix, with the evident ability to make everything a structured cry, starting with the guitars full of sludge up to the voice that sentences with its vibrating strings made dry by the wind of horror. Dark, terrifying, majestic, it creeps under the skin and makes us become resigned subjects to its overbearing beauty: the Polish boys have struck a chord in the heart of the old scribe...

KORUS - Prostracja

A meteorite born above the Polish sky is falling on the heart: cold from a body painted with Coldwave, grey from a sidereal Post-Punk, the song hypnotises and overrides time, draws a trajectory that engulfs the breath and with its evident propensity to obscure the sun settles with its singing, which soon becomes concussive, combined with dry drum rolls and the jaunty guitar of ancient Darkwave memories. A punch that makes us sick but also dance, rightly so, in total lack of balance....
