 Walleater- Money Where Your Mouth Is


The Noise/Fuzz community is increasingly feeding on stimuli from distances never thought accessible. The Leeds band is exceptional in this respect, able to be fluid in its dynamism, and this song fully demonstrates this, like a serious game that amazes as it enriches with its contribution to the development of new possibilities. The opening bass is from the history of the instrument, then what you hear condenses into a sensuality that comes through the singing and the wah wah of the guitar, which makes everything sound so beautifully from the seventies. The lyrics are a mature list of desires and actions, with a deep irony that is conveyed from afar. The song is a perfect bridge: we move through time and the music gives the confidence that we are listening to a small diamond rolling around inside our brains...
