My Review: Veil Vitric - Veil Vitric

Veil Vitric - Veil Vitric

Jesus Christ: how can we forget listening to this gothic vocabulary?

Released in 2016, limited edition to souls who worship the ravines, worm-filled pits and pains that leap out like pissed off bees, these five manifest sanguine Deathrock curves were the salt and pepper for wounds eager to be defiled by them, angels unbridled and terrible, shameless and tremendous. They are songs of abysses and shattered thoughts, inside an ironclad that brings the Chicago band to the podium of this musical genre that the old scribe simply adores and sublimates with his devotion. Not many British Batcave bands have had such poisoned and disturbing blood on their wrists either, they have not had the mystery of total attraction to some open yards of pain. The US is still the absolute master of despair, of the attraction to the mental circuits that make bodies forgetful of happiness. So dive into the poisoned trails of guitars and vocals, listen to the outrageous bass pulsing vitriol, the drums slapping with leather gloves and lots of studs. You end the listening with a full tank of oil in your blood and your life machine ready to take a trip through the streets of a cemetery at night...
