My Review: Batboner - Flaccid EP

 Batboner - Flaccid EP

Take the wildest possible suitcase and fly here to Norway: awaiting you are the spectacular Batboner, the Nordic gods of decadent sentiment who seek to make a blood pact with Deathrock, while reinvigorating their feverish wrists with remarkable Gothic Rock: it's cross toxicity, all is accomplished in this pagan rite inside the church of the severed heads by the whiplash of that Hardcore Punk that is certainly not lacking in these parts.

Light In The Void is the train on which Dave Vanian takes tea, with blackish biscuits, and rides fast across the snowy plains of sadness.

Skretch is the will to live that wavers, between bass hits and guitar that knows very well who Rikk Agnew is, in a fire that illuminates the fog-filled woods. The voice is an angry cathedral of clear tonsils.

Litch is a gothic frustration in wartime: guitars armed, the bass is a continuous bomb and the drumming a machine gun that holds its breath and tries not to go too fast.

Flaccid is the funeral that is performed during the party of ghosts watching young men masturbate: violent without overdoing it, it scatters the seeds of a consequential sadness that seduces every evil spirit.

Cover up lightly even if you're in the North: the Batboners will make you smell burning skin...
