 Leroy Se Meurt - La Chute

Almost three years have passed since this Ep: it is unforgivable to linger any longer to describe it. We are inside a neurotic corollary of Electro Punk waiting for your dancing steps, which will end up being a genuflecting lava of sweat. Vibrant, effervescent, the four tracks really show Paris snubbing snobs, and going all out to produce dark-faced magnets. The result is a sublime nervous breakdown, real, contrived by human beings rightly corrupted by exaggerating in quality: they are irrepressible, they take ebm and pluck it, to inject its chromosomes into this exaggerated, perfect electronics.

The singing is a series of polite screams, classy lashings on notes trained to make a rag out of you: chapeau!

 Leroy Se Meurt - La Chute

Sono passati quasi tre anni da questo Ep: non è perdonabile indugiare oltre per farne una descrizione. Siamo dentro un corollario nevrotico di Electro Punk in attesa dei vostri passi danzanti, che finiranno per essere una lava di sudore in genuflessione. Vibranti, effervescenti, i quattro brani sono realmente in grado di mostrare la Parigi che snobba gli snob, e si dà da fare per produrre magneti dalla faccia cupa. Il risultato è un esaurimento nervoso sublime, reale, escogitato da esseri umani corrotti giustamente dal fatto di esagerare in qualità: sono incontenibili, prendono l’ebm e la spolpano, per iniettare i suoi cromosomi in questa elettronica esagitata, perfetta.

Il cantato è una serie di urla educate, frustate di classe su note ammaestrate a fare di voi uno straccio: chapeau!

Is it enough for a couple from Prague to come up with an album that intoxicates the central nervous system, stressing it, annihilating it with such specific vehemence? Of course: if your name is Jan Vytiska and you compose music from murky acid nights, and if you are Tereza Ovćačikova with a voice like lightning speaking on a day filled with sensual sadness, then anything is possible.

You become a vampire renting electronic robotics that sneaks into Ebm, manufacturing an endless, destabilising and generously dark sound enchantment. Nine dances within the power of the Devil, lord of truth and father of deception: the two of them understood him and made him happy with these nine blackened gems...

Basta una coppia di Praga per ideare un album che intossica il sistema nervoso centrale, stressandolo, annichinendolo con cotanta veemenza specifica? Certo: se ti chiami Jan Vytiska e scrivi musiche che arrivano dalle torbide notti acide, e se sei Tereza Ovćačikova dalla voce di un fulmine che parla in un giorno pieno di sensuale tristezza, allora tutto è possibile.

Diventi un vampiro che affitta la robotica elettronica che si intrufola nella Ebm e allora puoi solo creare un incanto sonoro senza fine, destabilizzante e generosamente cupo. Nove danze all’interno del potere del Diavolo, signore della verità e padre dell’inganno: i due lo hanno capito e lo hanno reso felice con queste nove gemme annerite…

 Sad Madona - New Flesh

Parigi veste elegantemente la notte, con Synth che arrivano da Pornography, ritmi perfetti per una danza macabra, quella che Remi Lauvergne riesce a portare dentro i raggi lunari che non hanno bisogno di molte parole per parlare la lingua della sospensione: gli servono degli approcci quasi gutturali, perché è la chitarra la vera voce che ci informa di come si possa scrivere una canzone con l'aiuto di un talento che sa come non rendere troppo accessibile il suo forziere. Ma sono sufficienti le visioni provocate dall'ascolto, l'allucinazione di suoni compatti che durano centoventicinque secondi per regalare uno spasmo.

Come un lamento perennemente gravido, il brano è un loop emotivo prima ancora che musicale, qualcosa che opprime ma al contempo libera istinti pregni di tossine autunnali, quasi invernali. Ti getti nella stanza per ballare e ti muovi come una marionetta del mercato di Belleville, mentre credi di capire il senso delle sperimentazioni degli Human League di The Dignity Of Labour, dove regnava la sensazione di un nubifragio nelle vene. Ecco, a Remi riesce bene la rievocazione di fantasmi sublimi di un tempo e sta a noi godere di questo gioco di rimandi incantevoli...

 Sad Madona - New Flesh

Paris elegantly dresses up the night, with synths that come from Pornography, perfect rhythms for a macabre dance, the one that Remi Lauvergne manages to bring inside the moonbeams that do not need many words to speak the language of suspension: he needs almost guttural approaches, because it is the guitar that is the real voice that informs us how a song can be written with the help of a talent that knows how not to make its coffer too accessible. But the visions provoked by listening, the hallucination of compact sounds lasting one hundred and twenty-five seconds are enough to give you a spasm.

Like a perpetually pregnant lament, the track is an emotional loop before it is musical, something that oppresses but at the same time liberates instincts full of autumnal, almost winter toxins. You throw yourself into the room to dance and move like a puppet from the Belleville market, while you think you understand the meaning of Human League's experiments in The Dignity Of Labour, where the feeling of a cloudburst reigned in your veins. Here, Remi succeeds well in the evocation of sublime ghosts of yesteryear and it is up to us to enjoy this enchanting game of references...

 нат.аша - Moderne tage & au.sx

The divine Leipzig brings us two new songs by нат.аша, techno and coldwave tangle in the smell of Synthpop.

They seem distant from each other (musically speaking) because they conjure up musical scenarios that stick with us and the desire to dance to rhythms that are not even related, with different feelings, with new abandon, but always under the banner of a pleasure tinged with melancholy. The robotic frenzy of the first track, Moderne Tage, is symbolic of the legacy of ancient but still valid brilliants, in a melodic wave that finds support in the rhythm.

Au.Sz is a nephew of second-period Pankow, in a meeting with the epic undulation of The Legendary Link Dots, which makes the track a virgin in search of embrace.

 Sometimes in just a few minutes we get to meet that form of contact between the impulses that push to emerge and the dreams we keep forced in the dark...

La divina Lipsia ci porta due nuove canzoni dei нат.аша, groviglio techno e coldwave in odore di Synthpop.

Paiono distanti tra di loro (musicalmente parlando) perché fanno apparire scenari musicali che si attaccano a noi e al desiderio di ballare con ritmi che non sono nemmeno parenti, con sentimenti diversi, con nuovi abbandoni, ma sempre all’insegna di un piacere venato di malinconia. La frenesia robotica del primo brano, Moderne Tage, è il simbolo dell’eredità di brillii antichi ma sempre validi, in un’onda melodica che trova sostegno nel ritmo.

Au.Sz è nipote dei Pankow del secondo periodo, in un incontro con l’epica ondulazione dei The Legendary Link Dots, che rende il brano una vergine in cerca di abbracci.

 A volte in pochi minuti abbiamo modo di incontrare quella forma di contatto tra gli impeti che spingono per emergere e i sogni che teniamo obbligati al buio…

Sono in tre, vengono da Arnstadt, Germania, e sono maghi di connessioni, distributori di polveri di bellezza da spargere dentro una fiumana di generi musicali che loro sanno ammaestrare con forza e abilità inaudita, raggiungendo l'inimmaginabile, portando la nostra fantasia a toccare con mano la realtà: San Tommaso si presenta nei corpi di questi artisti dalle mani sagge, tese e capaci. Sono spari al cuore: quasi cinquant'anni di propensioni Post-Punk e gotiche messe all'interno di otto composizioni che usano l'elettronica, il rock base di chitarre e basso, per istituire una adunata di tutto ciò che ruota dentro il bisogno di fare somme precise, un doveroso inventario. Ecco allora che electronic, coldwave, dark synthwave, dark synthpop, darkwave, goth, post-punk, synthpop non sono più un lungo elenco di modalità espressive musicali bensì un tuffo dritto, con acrobazie continue, per consegnarci la perfezione…

They are shots to the heart: almost fifty years of Post-Punk and Gothic propensities put inside eight compositions that use electronics, the basic rock of guitars and bass, to establish a gathering of everything that revolves within the need to make precise sums, a dutiful inventory. Take a collection of previously published songs, with two previously unreleased ones, put them together on a CD and send them to your heart's content: at worst it will be ecstasy. You play with rhythms, effects, samples, synths that range, sowing assorted addictions, always under the banner of extreme care for the singing, sensual, provocative, often a delicate grimace of unutterable pains. As if coming from planets communicating by gestures, without uttering words, the melodic motions are courteously moistened through Synthpop sprinklings in the bustle of black-feathered electronics. The French combo ranges between forays into the Eighties and the consummate ability to colour the music of the present day with the consequence of creating electric curiosity on working days. Sensual.

Prendi una collezione di canzoni pubblicate in passato, con due inediti, mettile insieme in un cd e spediscile al cuore: mal che vada sarà estasi. Si gioca con i ritmi, gli effetti, con i campionamenti, con i synth che spaziano seminando dipendenze assortite, sempre all’insegna di una estrema cura del cantato, sensuale, provocante, spesse volte una smorfia delicata di dolori impronunciabili. Come se provenissero da pianeti comunicanti a gesti, senza proferire parole, ecco che le movenze melodiche vengono inumidite con cortesia, attraverso spruzzate Synthpop, nel trambusto di una elettronica con le piume nere. Il combo francese spazia tra incursioni negli anni Ottanta e la consumata abilità di colorare meglio la musica dei giorni nostri con la conseguenza di creare curiosità elettriche nei giorni lavorativi. Sensuale.

 In Mitra Medusa Inri - Home

One song: always difficult to write in such a situation, everything seems partial, imprecise, sometimes unhelpful, but no, this hypnotic dance is a caress for the listener, it cleanses and detoxifies. For all its simplicity Home is not egotistical, not even swaggering, it is a beautiful woman who advances in seconds without expecting to fall in love: she will probably slip away quickly.

The co-ordinates are those of dark beams with a darkwave appearance, with its patterns, its inclinations, its dark smell on an afternoon devoid of enthusiasm. The track is not meant to give you any, but rather to make you feel lost in your homes, like a punishment, a scolding, a setback. Enchanting because of this magnetic aura given by the bass (Post-Punk school), the voice that magnetises the veins to slap loneliness into them and a synth that takes the clouds and brings them close to your feet: you will dance with tears full of wind...

 In Mitra Medusa Inri - Home

Una canzone sola: sempre difficile scrivere in una situazione del genere, tutto sembra parziale, impreciso, a volte poco utile e invece no, questa danza ipnotica è una carezza per gli ascolti, fa da spartitraffico, pulisce e disintossica. Per la sua semplicità Home non è egoista, nemmeno spavalda, è una donna bellissima che avanza nei secondi senza pretendere l'innamoramento: probabilmente vi scivolerà via velocemente.

Le coordinate sono quelle di fasci cupi dalla fattezza Darkwave, con i suoi schemi, le sue inclinazioni, il suo odore scuro in un pomeriggio privo di entusiasmi. Il brano non ha il compito di darvene, bensì quello di farvi sentire persi nelle vostre case, come una punizione, una sgridata, un contrattempo. Incantevole per via di questa aurea magnetica data dal basso (scuola Post-Punk), la voce che magnetizza le vene per schiaffarci dentro la solitudine e un synth che prende le nuvole e le porta nei pressi dei vostri piedi: ballerete con le lacrime piene di vento...

When a girl decides to compose a song with the intention of doing it to thank an artist she loves, she already has the consent of the scribe, especially when one considers the difficulty of the project in the case of Brian Eno. Yet she succeeds in a frightening way, with enormous and dilated heights of creativity, ranging in her visionary capacity, projecting her passion for the former Roxy Music member and producer extraordinaire into a song with a thousand ramifications. A musical act like a historical and geographical globe, where space and time generate a peaceful coexistence. Madrid's talent has created magnetic fields of Avant-Pop that adapt to an experimental Pop, all the way to Ambient imbued with Electronics. All that remains is to applaud and take a bow.

Quando una ragazza decide di comporre un brano avendo nella testa di farlo per ringraziare un artista che ama, ha già il consenso dello scriba, specialmente se si considera la difficoltà del progetto nel caso in cui si parli di Brian Eno. Eppure lei ci riesce in un modo spaventoso, con vertici di creatività enormi e dilatati, spaziando nella sua capacità visionaria, proiettando la sua passione per l'ex membro dei Roxy Music e straordinario produttore dentro una canzone dalle mille ramificazioni. Un atto musicale come un mappamondo storico e geografico, dove lo spazio e il tempo generano una pacifica convivenza. Il talento di Madrid ha creato campi magnetici di Avant-Pop che si adattano a un Pop sperimentale, sino ad approdare all'Ambient imbevuto di Elettronica. Non resta che applaudire e fare un inchino.
