My Review: Beauty In Chaos - Diving From Pearls (Featuring Wayne Hussey and Cynthia Hussey)

Beauty In Chaos - Diving From Pearls (featuring Wayne Hussey and Cynthia Hussey)

Gratitude has lost its specific weight, squeezed out and thrown into a puddle now full of rubbish that should be removed from that place and put back into the prairies of increasingly vulgar brains. If this were then combined with love, then the work would be truly remarkable.

But there are those who set an example and, through the art of music, re-educate us, comfort us, take us by the hand, tracing the path of a relationship where 'everything' is, indeed, recognised and demonstrated. We find it within the lyrics of a song written by Wayne Hussey, the genius with the ever-burning lamp, and with music by the ever-fertile and lively pairing of Michael Ciravolo and Michael Rozon, members of the Los Angeles-based band Beauty In Chaos.

The song also features Wayne's wife Cynthia on vocals in a vocal combination that makes this sweet sound expression lean towards a hillside full of feathers and poetry.  The pop is dressed in an airy ballad, with textures that surround the gothic circuit but without exaggeration, as the splendid writing has petals that seek light and the music composed by the two members of the Los Angeles band know how to soften the atmospheres and bring them to the periphery of a dream pop that is only hinted at but enchanting.

There is a beautiful debt, while listening to this tender and penetrating musical fable, and that is to see strength, loyalty, reality emerge, and in a little over five minutes you find yourself inundated with a gentle perfume that makes you take a bow.  The movements of the guitars seem to come out of a nineties purge, a filtering action that lets the notes colour the beats and allows you to return to the listening session with a thank you stuck to your lips.

One plunges, intensely, into a melodic framework that quickly fixes itself with the irresistible and catchy refrain, within a lyric that expands more and more, to the point of protecting and asking to be followed because of an unquestionable wisdom.  The production makes compact the set of small, meticulous parts that, once welded together, come together to generate a swirling, vertical contamination, as one ends up swimming in the whirlpools of air that these notes know how to create, with magic and intensity.

The synth and the bass, with their different tasks and roles, establish a relationship with the melody of the guitars and the rhythm of the drums, generating a progression of emotions, fixing themselves in the brain, in the heart, concluding the whole in a clear example of how the task of a song is to offer a chance for growth.  The Old Scribe has no hesitation in confirming that the operation was successful and now only waits for eternity to bestow upon her a well-deserved throne...
