 Debris Discs - Losing the Matriarch 


Let a monument be prepared for James Eary: what he has done with My Sides of the Mountain and Coves & Caves would be enough to give him credit for his class. He continues undaunted and with his new formula Debris Discs he has found a way to delight us with a song that is part of the forthcoming album, built on letters from the Second World War. But what we hear is music that is effervescent, light, voluminously dreamy, cheerful and truly endowed with remarkable good taste. It is Electro-Pop that takes subtle but effective Dreampop into its arms, with an organ that makes us take a dip into the glorious attitude of the sixties. We really need to connect to the movements of the clouds in search of a kiss....
