 Citrus Clouds - Spacing Out


Words travel in a conflicting path, scattering thought. The old scribe has no doubt about this. And when he has to review a song like this, he realises that his own vocabulary has undergone a facelift.

The American band is a marvel, a vessel in the waters of life, purifying them and making the heartbeats shine with its formula of a rock that is composed of shoegaze inclinations (like light footprints, but capable of leaving immense traces) and a Dreampop attitude that manages to manifest itself even though there are sturdy guitars. A quick miracle, a settlement in the cranial crater that gives the propensity for mature joy, which began with the bass and continued with the layering of guitars full of brio and softness. If one song were enough to describe the joy of existence, this would be it, Old Scribe dixit...
