 Beach Vacation - Lay Low


How healthy is the freshness of Indie Pop bathing in shoegaze: the result is a clean, perfumed dance that conveys cheerfulness, a mood contagion that fills with endorphins and offers new energy. The Seattle band's single is an example of how the city of rain par excellence knows how to put aside the history that has been unfairly linked to grunge in recent decades. There is quality, propensity for the positivity of existence, and with this track we can imagine that the sun also wants to shine on beautiful souls like those of these guys. It's a gem this Lay Low, there's no doubt about it: the guitars are balanced towards a rapture, the vocals are a kiss of the clouds, the bass has a Post-Punk feel without anger and the drumming is humble, sunny, yet powerful. It travels in sweetness and in this day and age that's a miracle....
