Athena Ignoramus - Spit In My Face

When the garden of one's thinking floods, and the soundtrack is the song of the band from Asheville (North Carolina, USA), that water always seems perfumed, cursed, ambitious and cunning, because it slips into your enjoyment slowly, sensually, without resistance. With a start that seems to snatch the Post-Punk past from its destiny of never knowing how to change, Spit In My Face becomes a vehicle that welcomes the decadent singing, devoted to martyrdom, like the whole Minimal Synth cloud, to define the meaning of waiting and suspension, as the song does not seem to flow, so hung up on the hands of the clock. And you only realise this at the abrupt stop....

A marvellous example of how spaces can still exist to generate astonishment: put on a coat and throw away your fears, because with this vehement pulse you will know the prison of Guantanamo in your thoughts...
