Division Of Doubt - Suffer, Sinner B / W Days Of Old
We jump on the train of the animalistic Division Of Doubt, lead suitcase with solid poison in it, and off we go, plunging into Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, to lose track of ourselves (benefit, yes, pure benefit) and find ourselves in black-stained Post-Punk, which defies Darkwave to deliver twists in body and mind. It must be that in those parts, music is a summary of dramas and passions without the need to educate them, a fascinating and cruel melting pot that conquers by conviction and skill. The first track Suffer, Sinner is a TGV of asbestos and asphalt bubbles in the vicinity of Deathrock making demands, and getting them. The following Days of Old sees a change of pace and atmosphere, slowed down and pure, almost shoegaze the system, with Post-Rock studying and sitting back to applaud. Two songs for an overview that elicits elegant and measured weeping, but with the impression that as the listens go by it will become a landslide to expand the size of the city lake...
