My Review: Korine - Tear

 Korine - Tear

The old scribe returns to Pennsylvania to certify his adoration for the work of Korine, an amazing line-up from Philadelphia which, in this feverish February, cures our flu symptoms and gladdens our days with its sparkling and clamorous freshness, in a tree-lined avenue of songs that give oxygen and comfort.

Joy arrives, lightness imbued with awareness, with rhythms that induce dancing, and it is a levitating in the air to see the world with smiles, forgetting the blackness that overpowers it, like a generous display of dreams that overcome the impossible.

The 90s show the need for heirs within that crowded crossroads of Alternative, Synthpop, Indie Pop, Post-Punk, Pop and waves of Electronics: the band succeeds perfectly in their intent, like an absurd that wakes up and makes us witness a miracle. This happens in the ten episodes and the listening is repeated, one longs for it, one has found a new friend who doesn't break the bank, but rather entertains us in a way we haven't witnessed in a long time: music as mood elevation and the conquest of serenity. The album is the victory of research, of good taste, of the attitude to caress our days with a soundtrack that shows the film of their art: class and infinite vitality…
