 GHOST COP - A SHOT IN THE DARK

New York is looking good, at least musically, and this pair of songs from GHOST COP proves it to us. They traverse Cyberpunk, Coldwave and juicy crumbs of Post-Punk kept voluntarily under the skin with geometric elegance.

The result is a captivating play with shadows under an umbrella on a rainy day, where electronics suspend boredom and fear and lead us into the living room to dance. 

A SHOT IN THE DARK is the seizure of light thoughts, everything thrown away, to arrive at the realisation that what undermines our security is precisely a shot in the dark, in which all fragility is consolidated. A song that becomes a loop that we can learn to surrender to, leading our minds to fire in turn. Let it be the rapture of our pending enjoyment then, because this musical vibration knows how to bring together joy, anxiety, curiosity and fear..

USING WITCHCRAFT AGAINST A WITCH is the darkness, the ancient pain that seems to come from the inseminations of Cabaret Voltaire near a tomb. Dreary, dark, paralysing, it is a song that displays an architecture of synth crossovers in search of a crash: you are waiting for the drum machine. It arrives with a tribal electronic tam tam work and this eventually proves to be the New York band's trump card.
