My Review: Damien Hearse - Trauma Harness

 Damien Hearse - Trauma Harness

Inevitable premise: the old scribe has lost his mind with this track, you are warned.

Great turmoil, petals pregnant with immense violence wisely channelled into the electronic rivers that suck in gothic motions, and generous impetus that sequesters the existential whole in this song, mother and daughter of a delirium that cringes and rages, the kind that can bring satisfaction without hurting.

It was only February when Pro Life Death Camp was spoken of, and this was at the time the last demonstration of class by the American artist, who has surpassed himself here, annihilating all resistance with a magnificent single example of a robotic pulse that defeats all friction.

Mechanical dance, with a guitar intro that sounds like a salute to Deathrock, but no: you head elsewhere, take the plane and go straight to Germany, where you fall into the arms of a highly effective electro attitude. Don't look for references: they would laugh in your face, as Damien has so much class that he doesn't fall into the trap of a blatant imitation.

Synth that in the refrain becomes syringe, following and anticipating a dirty joy that paralyses and conquers time.

The vocal, full of electric wires, oscillates between low and high registers, to electrocute and scorch the surrounding air.

Now dear Damien, all you have to do is give us an album, because with you we have a continue desire.
